Texas AgriLife Extension Service
Improving the lives of people, businesses, and
communities across Texas and beyond through
high-quality, relevant education.
The Texas AgriLife Extension Service has five important
missions:

technology and industry practices.

We engage volunteers by extending our reach to the
citizens of Texas.

contributing future citizens.
Who We Are . . .
Agriculture is life! Re-branding Extension gives
us an opportunity to tell our whole story. The term
"AgriLife" captures the breadth of Extension education,
all the way from agriculture and natural resources,
through community economic development and family and
consumer sciences, to 4-H youth development - all areas
that are vital to everyday life. Our new brand shows the
vital partnership between Extension, Research and
teaching in the Texas A&M System.
What We Do . . .
Through educational programming, networking and
collaborative efforts with other public and private
groups, the Texas AgriLife Extension Service helps
Texans make decisions that improve their lives, their
families, and their communities.
